Why 10 P.M.?

A random hour it may seem to some, but ten o’clock is not without method to the madness. So why 10 p.m. and what connection does this have to the technological world? After all, most businesses are closed with captains of industry and innovation retired to their personal quarters. In this opinion, 10 p.m. is when creative thinking truly begins, after your both your work and primitive concerns have subsided, from development strategy to what’s for dinner, leaving you looking forward to tomorrow, whether that tomorrow is a figurative point in the future or literally the next morning. Creative thinking and innovation, as you certainly know, go hand in hand, the latter impossible without the former. In the words of Oscar Wilde, “Only dull people are brilliant at breakfast,” leaving the the foremost genius for the final hours of the day.Furthermore, traditional air in the morning hours, either 5 or 6 in the afternoon and 10 or 11 at night, with 10 o’clock the optimal hour to both recount the day’s events with enough time left over for reflection before a new day begins. In other words, 10 p.m. is a representative hour for the timely relay of important messages from near and far, concerning pressing developments and global trends.
